In the fall of 2015, we launched our first Top 100 Programs rankings, which we described as an attempt to assess the overall health of each program in the current era. A lot can change quickly in college baseball, so we decided to make this an annual exercise. We reviewed the Top 100 in 2017 and again in 2019. But after the pandemic ended the 2020 season, we decided to return the 2021 update to the year 2022.
