Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of assaulting teenagers in new cases

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new charges of rape, sexual assault and sexual assault after a series of new charges on Monday.

At least six lawsuits have been filed in New York court by two women and four men. They include allegations from 1995 to 2021.

The unnamed suspects alleged that some of the assaults took place at Mr Combs’ events, which were attended by celebrities and musicians.

Mr Combs’ lawyers have dismissed the allegations, saying in a statement sent to the BBC that he had “never sexually assaulted – young or old, male or female”.

One of the accusers said he was 16 years old when he went to one of the parties in the Hamptons in 1998. In the case, he describes being excited to receive an invitation to Mr. Combs’ event, which was an annual A-list celebrity event.

The complainant said that he saw a number of celebrities and musicians while walking, and ran into Mr Combs on his way to the bathroom. He said he started talking to Mr Combs about breaking into the music industry when they went to a secret location.

The accuser alleges that during their conversation, Mr. Combs simply ordered her to undress.

The case includes a photo of the couple together at a party with the faces of the teenagers blurred out.

According to the lawsuit, Mr. Combs said it was “a rite of passage” and a “road to stardom.” The rapper told the youngster that he can make anyone a star and that the youngster has the right “look”. .

Another lawsuit filed Monday includes allegations by a woman who says Mr. Combs raped her in a hotel room in 2004 when she was a 19-year-old college student.

According to the lawsuit, she met the music mogul at a photo shoot, where he invited her and a friend to a private party at his hotel. Once there, the lawsuit says Mr. Combs “mistreated her, molested her, and ended up raping her” despite repeatedly asking her to stop.

Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the plaintiffs, said he represents more than 100 people who plan to sue the rapper for alleged sexual harassment, rape and sexual exploitation.

Mr. Buzbee said that some of the alleged victims include children. He said the cases were filed under the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, which allows victims to file old complaints.

“We will let the allegations in the complaints that have been filed speak for themselves, and we will work to see that justice is done,” Mr. Buzbee said in a statement after filing charges on Monday.

“We expect to file many more charges in the next few weeks, naming Mr. Combs and others as defendants as we continue to gather evidence and prepare forms.”

The lawsuits are the latest of more than a dozen lawsuits filed against Mr. Combs recently, accusing the music star of assault, racketeering and sexual extortion.

He has denied all civil and criminal claims against him.

Mr. Combs is facing charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking. The judge last week scheduled his trial to begin on May 5, 2025.

Mr Combs was arrested on The Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York since his arrest on 16 September. His lawyers argued for him to be released pending trial, citing “horrific” prison conditions.

A New York federal judge rejected their request for bail, saying Mr Combs was “a serious flight risk”.
