Paramount Pictures has finally released a new trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3starring action hero favorite Keanu Reeves as fan favorite Shadow the Hedgehog.
Obviously, another John Wick—no matter how easy Reeves’ “foreshadowed” casting was—isn’t the movie. Joining Reeves in the blue blur threequel is Jessica Jones“Krysten Ritter, Ted LassoCristo Fernandez, Jorma Taccone of Lonely Island, FuriosaAlyla Browne, Harley Quinnof James Wolk, and Jane the Virginby Sofia Pernas. Sonic 3 you will also see the relentlessness of Jim Carey as Dr. Robotnik; Ben Schwartz will return as the title character.
Although Sonic 3 has long been rumored to be in the air, today is the first time in a long time that fans have gotten a glimpse of the film’s news since Paramount Pictures dropped it. Sonic Adventure 2 a throwback teaser logo trailer back in February. Aside from a glimpse of Shadow’s shoes and ball fist, fans had to make do with a grainy image of Shadow appearing in a bucket of popcorn. As you can imagine, the Sonic fandom feels like it just took a breather after coming out of the pond.

Paramount Pictures has a hand in clarifying how Shadow’s fans must see because they didn’t spare the cost of advertising his face with Sonic in various buildings around the world to promote the film’s trailer. Now, all that’s left is for the marketing to lean all over Shadow Wick by sprinkling targeted ads about the fate of a certain blonde haired girl. If you know, you know.
Sonic 3 will be running in theaters on December 20.
