Early Prime Day TV deals include LG C4 OLED smart TVs at low prices
Amazon Prime Day starts tomorrow, but you can still save on some of the new tech of the year. This time, we’re referring to TVs – The LG C4 OLED smart TV lineup has dropped in price, bringing the 55-inch model down to a record low of $1,297 – that’s a $700 discount. While it’s common to see TV prices drop throughout the year, starting right after the TVs are announced, that doesn’t change the fact that these are some of the steepest discounts we’ve seen since the launch of the C4. You can save hundreds of dollars on other sizes, too.
This is the company’s mid-range line of OLED TVs. Each model features an updated Alpha 9 Gen 7 chip, which makes menu navigation much faster. They also boast improved contrast compared to previous models. These TVs reach around 1,000 luminance, which is slightly dimmer than a Mini LED panel but better than most OLEDs.

It has a high refresh rate of 144Hz, which is great for gaming. To that end, these sets are compatible with G-Sync and AMD Freesync. The bona-fides of PC gaming are solid beyond this.
One of the best features of this smart TV is the enhanced compatibility with LG soundbars. Newly released soundbars will connect wirelessly to the television, eliminating the endless clutter of wires in the living room.
The 65-inch model also retails for $1,697, which is more than $1,000 off. For big spenders, a larger 83-inch version is available for $4,297. This is 20 percent off the regular price.
