Gervonta Davis Vs. Lamont Roach Battle Poster Unveiled

The official poster for the fight of Gervonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach was briefly put out by Tank on social media before being removed from their December 14 PPV match at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

The PPV price isn’t on the poster, but it’s likely to be $75.95 like Tank’s last fight against Frank Martin. Tank will not want to take a pay cut. David Benavidez is not expected to co-feature as Tank’s last fight. Whatever price the organizers choose to sell the Tank-Roach event at, it’s not expected to do good numbers on PPV.

Fans at X bash Tank Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) for their fight, calling it another “trash fight” for the 29-year-old Baltimore native. They don’t buy Tank enablers, they say no top players exist.

They see this as standard operating procedures for Tank Davis, which has been matched throughout his 11-year professional career. The best names on Tank’s resume are Mario Barrios and Ryan Garcia. Those were rehydration conditions.

People would put up with this fight if Tank’s last one was against a tough enemy instead of another cherry, but it’s not. Tank’s last fight was against Frank Martin, whom he knocked out in the eighth round last June after a 14-month layoff.

Tank’s final six opponents:

– Frank Martin
– Ryan Garcia
– Hector Garcia
– Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero
– Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz
– Mario Barrios

It doesn’t matter what the battle poster looks like for the event Tank vs. Roach. The fans are still going to criticize this fight, and they don’t want to buy it on PPV. It’s a bad fight, and Tank wasn’t giving people the fights they were asking for.
