Novak Djokovic has long been considered a wall on the tennis court. That took on new meaning on Sunday, when he spent time on the Great Wall of China.
In the spirit of ‘Play Big’, Lacoste hosted a special event at Ju Yong Guan Pass in Beijing. Located in Changping District, Ju Yong Guan is one of the best-preserved places along the Great Wall of China.

Ambassadors, celebrities and the media were among those who attended the event where a tennis court was established. Djokovic enjoyed hitting balls with Chinese actor Wang Yibo.
Yibo wrote on Instagram: “I am truly honored and happy to have played tennis with the Olympic champion at the Great Wall! Many thanks to @lacoste , and thanks to Nole @djokernole ! I am already looking forward to our next match, I will continue to train and play well.”
Djokovic commented on the post: “I’m happy to play with you on the Great Wall of China. I look forward to catching you at one of my shows soon.”
The Serbian star will now enjoy the Asian Swing and continue his pursuit of a 100th tour-level title.
