Lego Horizon Adventures hits PS5, PC and Switch on November 14
Lego Horizon Adventures is one of the few first-party games Sony is releasing this year, and now we have a release date, thanks to the State of Play the company released on Tuesday. The kid-friendly spin on the Horizon series is coming to PlayStation 5, PC and Switch on November 14.
The early release date isn’t a shocker, as the game was already slated for the 2024 holiday season. However, Sony jumped the gun by accidentally revealing the arrival date on the PlayStation website a few weeks ago. Oops!
We got a chance to try it Lego Horizon Adventures at the Summer Game Fest in June and came out with a good impression. It’s usually faithful to the combat of the main Horizon games, where Aloy sneaks around to find the right angles to attack enemies and uses her Focus to find weak spots on large dinosaur-like machines. However, that’s in keeping with the kind of offbeat humor you’ll find in many other Lego games rather than broad criticism. Horizon Forbidden West. Local and online co-op will also be available for the first time in a Horizon game.
This is an opportunity for Sony to bring the series to a new audience. So far, the Horizon series is only available on PlayStation consoles and PC (and PS VR2 in the case Horizon Call of the Mountain). This could also be a small test for Sony to see if some of its older games can get new digs, and more multiplayer, on Nintendo’s systems.
