It’s been less than a week since Apple released the AirPods 4, and there are already a few sales available on them. Before Big Day in October, you can pick up AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation for $169, down from $179. AirPods 4 without ANC are also discounted by $10, with an eight percent discount down to $119 from $129. Markdowns aren’t essential but they can be the extra stress you need when you’re sitting on the phone.
Apple announced two versions of AirPods 4 at its iPhone 16 event on September 9. The fourth-generation AirPods with ANC scored 86 in our review, while the standard version scored 88. The ANC model has improved fit and sound. quality and offers Adaptive Audio, Conversational Awareness, and wireless charging. It also has benefits such as a speaker in the case of ringing when you turn on Find My – although AirPods only support close-up viewing, not finding precision like AirPods Pro 2.

AirPods 4 without ANC share a major complaint with their siblings: no volume controls. They also don’t have wireless charging or Chat Awareness. What they offer you is a good, comfortable fit and better sound quality than their predecessors. This model also offers Personalized Surround Sound with adaptive head tracking, Voice Isolation and Adaptive EQ.
