Now that we know the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days event is coming up soon, it’s time to start thinking about what you might want to get at a discount during the sale. Some may cringe at the thought of holiday shopping, but if you’re paying $139 a year for Prime, these sales events are a great time to stock up on essentials and cross things off your shopping list before the year-end rush.

While October’s Prime Day isn’t usually on the same scale as Prime Day in July, we often see decent deals that may pop up during Black Friday and Cyber ​​Monday. While these discounts aren’t technically October’s Prime day deals, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention them. While sales on streaming services are becoming more and more common, there’s no rhyme or reason to them like there should be, say, Amazon’s Prime Day sales cycle. That said, if you see a discount on a service you’ve been meaning to try, it’s worth jumping on it.

The Great October Day will be held on October 8 and 9 this year.

Many October Prime Day deals won’t be revealed until the days of the event. However, over the years, we have seen everything from clothing to home essentials to outdoor items sold during this event. Engadget is obsessed with tech deals, and in past Prime Days, we’ve seen things like phones, tablets, headphones, earbuds, robot vacuums, smart home gear and more get deep discounts.

Yes, because most of the deals will be Prime only. However, there are always a few decent deals available to all Amazon shoppers, so it’s worth checking Amazon’s site during October Prime Day to see where you can save or not pay for Prime.
