Terence Crawford On Canelo Fight: Proves “No.1 Guy” This Era

Terence Crawford says if he gets his wish, the fight between him and Canelo Alvarez will prove who is the number one fighter in the “post-Mayweather era.” A fight between Canelo and Crawford would not determine who is the number 1 boxer of this boxing era.
It would be an easy money grab between Crawford, a younger, older fighter on his way to retirement, and superstar Canelo. There are many great fighters in the sport who deserve to be ranked higher than Crawford.
The fight between him and Canelo shows nothing but how much Crawford wants Golden Parachute to raise money to make it Rockefeller-esque a breed with a large nest egg that is passed down from generation to generation.
This fight means a lot to Crawford than to Canelo because it only helps one person. That’s Crawford. Mexican superstar Canelo already has an estimated net worth of $275 million, which may now reach $300 million after his last fight with Edgar Berlanga.
Canelo won’t get credit for beating Crawford because fans will say he beat a younger guy, which would be true. Crawford recently moved up to 154 last August and looked like a shell of his former self, struggling to beat Israel Madrimov.
The few fans who believed Crawford had a chance to beat Canelo abandoned that idea after watching him go toe-to-toe with Madrimov. That matchup proved that Crawford is too weak, small, and old to advance beyond the 154-lb division.
It would be the equivalent of Crawford leaving Earth and trying to colonize an exoplanet TOI-700 e. Crawford’s chances of handling the tough situation at 168 against Canelo will prove to be too much for the 37-year-old.
“I feel like it’s a legacy fight, and I feel like it’s a fight I can win,” Crawford told ESPN. about the match with Canelo.” I think it will tell them [who is the] No. 1 guy in the post-Mayweather era, who is the king of kings.”
No one is taking Crawford seriously for his true intention of moving up to 168 to challenge Canelo. They see this as just a money thing, which Crawford has already partially acknowledged. If Crawford really wanted to prove himself worthy, he could move up to super middleweight and fight Benavidez instead of his house of concern Canelo.
“If the money is right, why not, at this point in my career,” Canelo said about fighting Crawford.
Canelo is open to a fight with Crawford if he pays more than $100 million+, but so far, no one is willing to match his price to make the match a reality. What could possibly make the match is Crawford’s unproven PPV history. He is not an artist. So, whoever pays the currency to make the war happen is going to lose a lot of dough.
Mf just hate to enter. Yall people are weird.
