Marvel’s Final Bid to Make You Watch Agatha All Over 5 Hours of Patti LuPone ASMR

We are hours away WandaVision spin-off Agatha Everything Goes debuting on Disney+, and the marketing geniuses at Marvel bookended the final show to audiences with a five-hour ASMR video featuring the show’s leading ladies.
While it would be nothing short of an act of cruelty for Disney to lock Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, and Sasheer Zamata in a room to create ASMR content, the five-hour video is actually a three-hour loop of a four-minute video of the characters jumping as much as possible their own idea of what ASMR is.
Highlights of their games include Hahn playing with her fingernails on a branch, Zamata playing with a medicine bottle chain, and LuPone shuffling cards. Plaza, in typical fashion, went all in with her ASMR session, which involved making various sounds with knives. This includes chopping wood, stabbing said wood, cutting flowers, and licking said knife. Not to be outdone by herself, Plaza ends her ASMR session by lighting two candles to blow out. According to Plaza, his last act symbolized the extinguishing of “all the dark souls that have plagued us for centuries.” Thank you for your service.
Agatha Everything GoesThe ASMR YouTube video is the latest in a series of fun stories from the game. This year alone, we’ve seen the emergence of Plaza and LuPone Hot onespondered the mystery inspired by a fan theory about the identity of John Locke’s teenage character, and heard remixes of the theme song. We’ve also seen showrunners poke fun at Marvel fans with the long running gag of changing the spin-off’s name. To see how early the update is Agatha Everything Goes so far they’ve been optimistic, it’s safe to say that the people involved have found their journey laughing all the way to the bank while marketing the show in every way possible.
Agatha Everything GoesThe two-episode premiere premieres tonight on Disney+.
