JD Vance Says NATO Should Only Get Support If Europe Plays Nice With Elon Musk

JD Vance, vice president and extraordinary guy, recently appeared on Shawn Ryan’s YouTube show where he defended Elon Musk’s honor. Ironically, Vance emphasized that if the European countries are not good for the X billion owner, the US should not support the NATO alliance.
Vance told Ryan that he forgot “which official was in the European Union,” who was hostile to Musk, but said the regulator “sent Elon this threatening letter that said, ‘We will arrest you if you put Donald. Trump, who may be the next president of the United States.’
Vance appears to be thinking of Thierry Breton, the European regulator, who sent Musk a letter in August. Breton was concerned about how extreme content has recently developed on X, though he did not threaten to arrest Musk. Vance insisted that all of this amounted to discrimination, a term he seemed to misunderstand.
“So what America should be saying is, ‘Oh, if NATO wants us to continue to support it and NATO wants us to continue to play a positive role in this military alliance, why don’t you respect American values and respect free speech,'” Vance said.
To be clear, nothing in the NATO agreement requires European countries to ignore their laws on the spread of disinformation and hate speech in order to appease the US or Ohio senators, for that matter.
“It’s crazy that we’re going to support a military alliance if this military alliance won’t talk openly,” Vance continued. “I think we can do both, but we have to say that American power comes with certain strings attached. One of those is respect for freedom of speech, especially for those we work with in Europe.”
Vance then went on to insult other nations of the world while trying to put Europe in its place.
“Like, look, I’m not going to go to some backward country and tell them how to live their lives, but European countries should share American values, especially about basic things like free speech,” Vance said.

Vance has been the subject of controversy since Trump’s election as president, repeatedly insulting people without children as “cats without children” who are destroying America. The vice president was also instrumental in spreading the racist lie that Haitian immigrants to Ohio were eating pets in the city of Springfield, Ohio.
But somehow the whole Trump campaign seems to be getting more extreme and racist by the day. An ad Trump posted Tuesday on Truth Social shows Harris and Walz in 1960s-style Chinese Communist costumes and calls Walz the Manchurian candidate. The ad is full of racist music, contains racist claims, and is one of the most racist things you’ll see come out of any “mainstream” political campaign.
