Tell us what you thought of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

There have been a lot of old moviegoers who have been hoping for a sequel at some point, and Beetle juice is very high on that list. Tim Burton and Michael Keaton would clearly show interest again from the 2010s (if not sooner) in terms of getting it off the ground, but for the most part, it seems like a good idea. But after hitting it hard on wednesday, Burton managed to break free Beetlejuice juice out in the world.

Longtime fans have been buzzing with excitement since that first trailer, and interest has grown with each new viewing of the film. It seemed like a return to form for the director, and bringing in current hot ticket actors like Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe along with returning stars Michael Keaton, Catherine O’Hara, and Winona Ryder seemed like the right move. Legacy sequences can be hit and miss these days, but don’t worry: it sounds like this was a pretty good time.

The reviews for the previous release were pretty bright Beetle juice x2 after it premiered at the Venice Film Festival, many commented on how it managed to avoid the nostalgia problem of getting up its ass. Now that the full review is out, that praise isn’t so subtle: instead of being some kind of celebration of the original film and its lasting legacy, this is just a celebration. Beetle juice a series of returning and brand new characters, which seemed to be the best anyone could hope for. (And it sounds like Keaton is great in it, but wouldn’t he be?)

Now that it’s out, we want to know your thoughts on it Beetlejuice juice. It’s worth the wait, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be, hopefully a third time? Let us know in the comments below.
