The James H. Ellery Memorial Award is presented annually to recognize outstanding coverage of the American Hockey League. It was first introduced in 1964-65 and honors the deceased Jim Ellerywho worked for the AHL for 17 years as league secretary and advertising director until his death in 1964.
In addition to serving as the play-by-play voice of every Moose game during the regular season and the Calder Cup Playoffs, Fink works closely with Winnipeg’s local media and organizational platforms to grow the club’s presence in one of Canada’s premier leagues. markets.
