2024 tour tournament purse: Payment information, winner’s share

Whoever wins the 2024 FedEx Cup will earn a huge bonus.

After a long, exciting season on the PGA Tour and three thrilling FedEx Cup Playoff events, we’ve come to a close with the final round at the 2024 Tour Championship. And huge sums of money will be handed out to players thanks to a record-breaking fund this week.

The players competing at East Lake are not only playing for the Tour Championship but also the FedEx Cup. And that’s where all the money comes from.

The total purse for the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup is a staggering $100 million. But that money will not be made equally.

That World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler successfully ends his Tour Championship campaign on Sunday, or if Collin Morikawa can steal it, the winner will earn $25 million.

But second place is not so bad. This week’s runner-up will receive $12.5 million, the share of a three-time major league winner.

And last place will still get a pretty penny, too, to the tune of $550,000.
