NEW YORK-Karolina Muchova it is inspired by male players, but it does not play a man’s game.
2023 US Open semi-finalist Muchova has been eliminated Anastasia Potapova 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the seventh round of her fourth Grand Slam at the US Open.

Afterward, Muchova was asked about the Hall of Famer and ESPN analyst Chrissie Evert comparing her all-court style to the men’s game. Evert’s comments drew criticism from the two-time Wimbledo finalist In Jabeur.
I’m sorry if I brought you both, it really wasn’t my intention. Strength, mobility, and athleticism have greatly improved, and many of the women I interview have images of men they aspire to play like. Also, maybe my delivery could be better, I’m so sorry!

The 18-year-old Grand Slam champion apologized on social media and said “if I offended you both, it was not my intention.”
This player who once reached the final of the French Open said that he was inspired by Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer but he does not compare his game with theirs.
“I don’t think I play like a man,” said Muchova to the media. “I don’t know what to say about that. I don’t really know what he said. But yeah, obviously I got the inspiration to name Roger Federer or Djokovic.
“I like to follow what they do. Then it inspires me. I don’t think I play that way.”
Next up for Muchova is a fourth round meeting with Roland Garros and Jasmine Paolini which ended at Wimbledon.
