Boynton began working with Hurkacz five years ago, in March of 2019. He has coached Jim Courier, Mardy Fish and John Isner.
The Pole would make his first Top-50 after that, and in 2021 he reached the Top-10 for the first time. Hurkacz reached the semifinals at Wimbledon in 2021, her best Grand Slam performance to date.
Hurkacz is the top Polish men’s player in history who ended 2021 and 2023 at a career-high No. 9 after an appearance at the Nitto ATP Finals, and reached a career high of No. 6 in August of this year.
