Uber 2.0 youth accounts unveiled with more convenience and security features
updated it with new and improved features designed for comfort and safety. Apart from the past like tracking the progress of the trip and Uber Eats connection, the rideshare company is now announcing a few more features. Parents with youth accounts, available in all 50 states and 250+ cities can use them on their youth accounts.
Previously, youth accounts did not support parents booking trips using their phones, but the new guardian booking feature now allows this. Parents who use guardian bookings will have access to the security features that will be used by the teen’s account. Parents with Uber One memberships can also now share benefits with teens, such as free delivery and ride money back. Any refund goes into the youth’s account for future use.
New accounts can also use now to request rides for up to the next 90 days. Booking tours can be booked with at least 30 minutes advance notice, too. Finally, new accounts can now use Uber Cash when they earn Uber gift cards. They can use the money themselves for future rides or meals.
