Summer baseball
Wareham made the playoffs out of the West Division, finishing the regular season with a 22-17-1 record, but saw its postseason come to an end with a 7-4 loss to Cotuit in the first round of the one-game playoffs.
The Gatemen had a strong lineup this summer, as they led the league in several categories, including OPS (.750) and doubles (76), which was 15 more than any other team. This season’s highlights include a third baseman The late Gray (Fresno State/2025), outfielder Brendan Summerhill (Arizona/2025), a unique utility player Bobby Bosser (Florida/2024) and first baseman Nate Earley (Louisville/2025).
