Novak Djokovic is the defending champion, Carlos Alcaraz has won the last two majors and Jannik Sinner is the World No. 1. ATPTour.com takes a look at three players who could be the best picks for fans in the PIF ATP Rankings Predictor.

Jannik Sinner – defends 180 points
The top seed faces a tough tie, with former World No. Daniil Medvedev. But the Italian has proven consistent in the majors recently.
Since last year’s Wimbledon, he has won 24 of 28 matches at majors. His defeats have only come against players who have reached at least world number 2. Last year, he fell in the fourth round at Flushing Meadows to Alexander Zverev, who defeated him last week in Cincinnati.
A quarter-finalist at the 2022 US Open, Sinner played well in last season’s finals and has the momentum to win the title in Cincinnati.
Stefanos Tsitsipas – saved 45 points
The Greek hasn’t played his best tennis of late, compiling a 1-2 record in Montreal and Cincinnati. He also never made it past the third round in New York.
However, with only 45 points to defend, Tsitsipas has the potential to earn your team more net points. The 2019 Nitto ATP finals champion has excelled at the hard-court Slam in the past, making the 2023 Australian Open final and three more semi-final appearances. If he finds form, look for the 26-year-old to replace Thanasi Kokkinakis in the first round.
Holger Rune – defending 10 points
One week ago, Rune reached the semifinals in Cincinnati and it was Cable’s last win to knock Frances Tiafoe out of the championship game. The Danish player showed signs of the tennis he played to reach world number 4 last year.
The 21-year-old has advanced to at least the fourth round in every major except the US Open, where he reaches the third round in 2022. Rune, who faces Brandon Nakashima in the first round, will look to change that depth this year.
Bonus ball – Jannik Sinner
There are players who defend fewer points than Sinner, but to double your total tournament points, World No. 1 is a good option.
The Italian owns a record of 48-5 this season and has captured the top five titles on the ATP Tour. In major tournaments, he is undefeated reaching the quarter-finals. A trip to the last eight in New York could earn him good points. Should he win his second major of 2024, that would net him 1,820 points. Double that for 3,640 points and a big week for your team.
