The Secret Level of Amazon’s Anthology Game is Full of Wild Stories

Last week we found out that Amazon has been working with Tim Miller and Blur Studios for a long time Love, Death + Robots-esque take on the world of video games The secret levela new animated anthology series. Now, we have our first proper look: and confirmation that the team is struggling to make headlines.

This afternoon during the opening night of Gamescom, Amazon dropped a new trailer The secret level3DCG animated series that will hit Prime Video later this year. The 15-episode series will take inspiration from a different fantasy game each, and while we previously heard rumors of a handful of games being included, we now know the full picture. According to the press release, these 15 games have been combined The secret level include:

  • Armored Core
  • Concord
  • Crossfire
  • What is not mentioned Pits & Dragons the subject
  • Exodus
  • The Glory of Kings
  • Mega Man
  • New Earth: Aeternum
  • Pac-Man
  • Many PlayStation titles, including God of War
  • Cloud
  • Spelunky
  • Outer Worlds
  • A Strange Tournament
  • The world of Warhammer 40,000directly Space Marine 2

That last entry—a partnership that Games Workshop confirmed saw its Warhammer Studios partner Blur to create—makes sense, given Amazon’s ongoing deal with the tabletop miniatures maker to develop a TV series based on Warhammer 40,000. But the list in general covers a really interesting variety of tones and styles The secret level wanna play. We’ll find out how well she manages to fit in between all these worlds when the 15-episode series premieres on Amazon Prime Video on December 10.
