UK Businessman Mike Lynch Missing After Yacht Sinks In Storm
British technologist Mike Lynch, 59, is among six people missing after a storm hit their superyacht, Bayesian, off the coast of Sicily, according to Reuters.
The BBC reports that Lynch’s daughter, 18, is also missing. Lynch’s wife and 14 other people survived.
The luxury yacht was carrying 22 passengers. The Italian authorities have confirmed that the incident took place in the early hours of Monday when the water attacked the place where the ship with the British flag, Bayesian, was docked near Palermo.

The 56-foot Bayesian costs about $215,000 a week to rent.
Rescue efforts are ongoing.
It is reported that the combined wealth of Lynch and his wife is estimated at $649 million.
