The games are still on. Netflix just announced that Squid game The second season will arrive on December 26, and the third and final season will follow soon after in 2025.
“Three years after winning the Squid Game, Player 456 is still determined to find the people behind the game and end their cruel game,” the press release said. “Using this good fortune to fund his search, Gi-hun starts with the most obvious places: look for a man in a sharp suit playing ddakji in the subway. But when his efforts finally bear fruit, the path towards bringing down the organization becomes more dangerous than he thought: to finish the game, you need to start it again.”
