The 10th generation iPad is back under $300, along with some of the best tech deals of the week.
As we’ve seen in years past, when Amazon’s Prime Day ends, many of the deals evaporate. But one week after the frenzy of sales (both from Amazon and other sellers) we still see a few deals that remain faithful to their event prices or come up with a new discount afterwards. Right now, the budget pick in our iPad guide is $1 more than last week’s low. Our favorite pair of earbuds are just over a Prime Day low. Also, as of this writing, Amazon is still offering a free $300 gift card when you order the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 that just started shipping on Wednesday. Here are this week’s best tech deals you can get today.
an apple
When the dust settled after Apple released four new iPads, the 10th generation iPad still stood as the brand’s entry-level tablet. Then it got a permanent price drop to $349 and on Prime Day it dropped to $299. Now it sells for a dollar more, or $300 on Amazon.
We gave the tablet a review score of 85 after its launch in October 2022, praising the improved performance, strong battery life and improved design. And budget picks in our iPad buying guide.
You can also get a new iPad Air for the same price as Prime Day. The 11-inch model with 128GB of storage is down to $559, which is a $40 discount and matches the lowest price yet. We called the new iPad Air the “iPad to get” in our review this May and it’s the Apple tablet we recommend to most people in our buyer’s guide.

The new Samsung Galaxy devices have already dropped, but the pre-order deal offered by Amazon is still live. The retailer is offering a $300 gift card to anyone who pre-orders the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. The bundle is available for $1,900 thanks to a six percent discount on the 512GB model (originally $2,020).
We’ve already had a chance to review the new foldable phone and gave it an 86 in our review. We like the simple layout, the bright and colorful display and the stylus support. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip makes it fast and responsive and the larger vapor chamber inside keeps it cool even for long periods of time.
The less expensive Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is also sticking with its pre-order deal, getting you the 512GB model and a $200 Amazon gift card for $1,100. it goes for $1,220 alone.

The Anker Soundcore Space A40 is selling for almost a dollar more than expected on Big Day. Only now, you’ll have to click the coupon on the page to get an additional 15 percent off the $59 retail price. If you can handle the extra step, you’ll pay just over $50 for our favorite full-size earbuds.
The Space A40 packs the performance and features you’d expect from a more expensive set of buds. They have a warm and pleasant sound and excellent ANC. You can connect two devices at the same time and the case supports wireless charging. They have a decent water resistance rating and the connection is reliable. While we do wish they offered automatic pause and the mice were a little better on calls, those are minor complaints for the best earbuds.

Nintendo
The Nintendo Switch Lite portable gaming console is still on sale for $159 at Walmart. We started noticing sales around Prime Day but it looks like it’s only going to get stronger. This version has an Animal Crossing inspired design with an aqua blue color and a leaf pattern on the back. It also comes with a full game download for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The Nintendo Switch Lite came out in 2019, and we gave it a 90 in our review. It’s smaller and more comfortable to hold than a regular Switch, making it great for traveling or commuting. It has a 5.5-inch screen with a 720p display. and you’ll get a little over four hours of playtime on a charge.
Of course the console is five years old now, and the Switch 2 is widely expected in the next year or so. Although the new Lite version probably won’t arrive at the same time. It’s something to keep in mind, but if you want a light handheld with a fun game at a good price, this is a good bet.

The Wonderboom 3 will cost $60, which is $3 more than the minimum it sold for on Big Day. It’s still a good deal for one of the speakers on our best Bluetooth list. It’s small but powerful and delivers the loudest sound of any speaker we’ve tested for its size. It has a great microphone shape, lasts up to 14 hours on a charge and not only does it have an IP67 waterproof rating, it also floats.
Yes, there is a new version of the Wonderboom that may account for the deep discount, but that one is not for sale.

The Apple AirTag is being sold at Walmart and Amazon for the same price it was sold for on Big Day. Instead of the usual $29 instead of $24.
Our favorite Bluetooth trackers for iPhone users, mainly because of Apple’s Find My network. If you lose something with an AirTag on it, the tracker will anonymously ring nearby iPhones to triplicate where it is. You will receive a notification when it is found and your phone will lead you directly to the marker using directions in Apple Maps and, if you are close enough, ultrawideband technology to point you directly to it.

Another Apple product that hasn’t bounced back from Prime Day is the M3-equipped MacBook Pro. Right now, Amazon is selling the 14-inch model with the M3 chip, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $1,399, or a $200 discount.
The 14-inch model with the M3 Pro chip, 18GB of memory and 512GB of storage is down to $1,699, instead of $1,999. And the 16-inch Pro with the same chip and specs is now $1,999, down from $2,499 MSRP.
We gave both the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops 90 points in our initial review, praising the stunning screens, fast chips and solid port selection.
The 2024 13-inch MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is $1,099 at B&H Photo, which is a $200 discount. The base model with the 8GB/256GB configuration is down to $999.

The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is our pick for the best Bluetooth tracker for Samsung users. It’s reliable, easy to set up, and the recovery network is huge, relying on nearby Samsung phones to anonymously report your lost items. The fobs themselves are also better than any other trackers I’ve tested. Note that they only work with Samsung’s range of Android smartphones.
Currently one fob is down to $22, which is $8 below list price and about $2 above the lowest price it was sold for during the Big Day.

ELECOM
A bundle featuring our favorite outdoor power bank is on sale. With it, you get the Nestout Outdoor 15,000 mAh power bank, which is probably waterproof and waterproof (once you put the caps on) and a light that sticks to one of the port clusters and a battery stand. Together, they form a small vertical lantern. Also included is a portable four-panel solar charger that opens into the included case and comes complete with feet on the back so you can point it at the sun.
When I tried the panel, it recharged an empty battery to 40 percent in about three hours. Considering the size of the panels, that’s not too bad. As for the battery itself, it provided about three full charges for the iPhone 11 and took about two hours for each charge. Those aren’t the fastest batteries we’ve tested, but performance is still solid and the rugged exterior makes it a decent camper.

Right now, our favorite budget webcam is seeing a 20 percent discount. Anker PowerConf C200 is down to $48 from $60, a record low. With it, you get many of the same features as more expensive models, such as a 95-degree adjustable field of view and software that lets you dial in brightness and brightness.
Dual stereo microphones capture sound clearly, and there’s a visible privacy shutter. It can be a little tricky to get the angle right, but that’s a small catch for a big confidence booster for the conference.

TheraGun
The TheraGun mini is still on sale for $149, which is the same price it went for on Big Day. Runners on our staff recommend this in our runner’s gift guide because its compact size makes it easy to target sore spots. We also like the three attachments included and the relatively affordable price — especially on sale.

Robot
iRobot makes some of our most recommended robotic vacuums and this combo vac/mop is the most affordable two-in-one the brand makes. It’s currently $200, which is about $10 more than what it was selling for on Big Day, but it represents a 27 percent discount on a Roomba wet/dry from a trusted brand. There are no automatic vacuum features but if you’re OK with a little manual maintenance, this can help keep your floors clean with minimal effort.
