Linette Thumps Frech for Prague Title in First Polish WTA Final

In the first all-Polish WTA final in history, one Magdalena came out on top.
Magdalena Linette know well Magdalena Frech 6-2, 6-1 to capture the Livesport Prague Open today.
It is Linette’s third Tour-level title, including her first since collecting the 2020 Hua Hin Championship.
Fourth-seeded Linette scored 27 of her 32 points in the first game and denied all four break points she faced in a clean 80-minute victory.
The week ended with Linette defeating Mona Barthel, Rebeka Masarova, fifth seed Viktoriya Tomova and top seed Linda Noskova before taking sixth seed Frech.
Linette helps celebrate No. 41 in the Live Rankings as he aims to secure a seed for the 2024 US Open.
