Frances Tiafoe has started working with David Witt, the former coach of Venus Williams and Jessica Pegula.

Frances Tiafoe has not been clear since she parted ways with long-time coach Wayne Ferriera at the end of last season, but the World No.29 appears to be heading in that direction as a new relationship with David Witt, the former coach of Venus Williams and Jessica. Pegula, it has started.
Witt is in Atlanta with Tiafoe, who spoke about the relationship after his 6-4 3-6 6-3 victory over Aslan Karatsev on Thursday.
“It was good,” Tiafoe said. “It’s been almost a week and a half.
“He’s as cool as I am and obviously he did a great job with Venus and he did a great job with Pegula. It’s good to have him in the team, we’ve been friends for a long time.
“I wanted a new start with someone and he was a good man.”

Tiafoe started the year working with him Diego Moyanowho once worked with Coco Gauff.
The couple broke up in early April.
It hasn’t been an easy season for Tiafoe, who sported a 16-15 overall record, but he showed signs of health at Wimbledon where he reached the third round and took champion Carlos Alcaraz to five sets.
The American will face Yoshihito Nishioka in the quarterfinals in Miami.
