Holger Rune Will Miss Olympics With Wrist Injury

Holger Rune has joined the list of players who will not participate in the Paris Olympics tennis event.

The 16th-ranked Danish player revealed that he has been suffering from a bone injury in his left wrist since May, and doctors have advised him to take some time off.

Rune recently came out of Hamburg, citing a knee injury, but on his return home he underwent a wrist test and was ruled out of this week’s 250-level event in Umag.

The 21-year-old is 27-15 this season so far.
